Maryam Ehsani is the founder of Child Safe ME, an international consultancy advancing child safeguarding, online safety, and responsible AI. An Executive Board Member of ISPCAN, founder of its Child Safeguarding Working Group and Scientific Chair of its 2023 Congress in Edinburgh, she has worked with more than 200 organisations over sixteen years, including eight years leading Keeping Children Safe's global network. She holds an MSc in International Child Rights from King's College London and completed the Oxford Artificial Intelligence Programme and the Oxford AI Ethics, Regulations and Compliance Programme at Saïd Business School. Her current work centres on online child safety and child safety in AI. She is also a COP28 panelist, an Ambassador to the AI Universal Council, and the author of the forthcoming children's book for ages 4–7, Sofia's Safe Circle: A Story About Trusted Adults and Speaking Up (Growing Brave Press, first half of 2027).

Maryam Ehsani is the founder of Child Safe ME, an international consultancy dedicated to advancing child safeguarding, online safety, children's rights, and responsible AI in practice. She serves as an Executive Board Member of the International Society for the Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect (ISPCAN) and was the Scientific Chair of its 2023 Congress in Edinburgh, shaping the global agenda for child-protection research and practice; she also founded and chairs ISPCAN's Child Safeguarding Working Group. Before founding Child Safe ME she spent eight years at Keeping Children Safe in London, leading a global network of more than 80 governments, international NGOs and corporations, and has worked with more than 200 organisations across Africa, Asia, Europe and the Middle East. She is also a COP28 panelist and an Ambassador to the AI Universal Council. Maryam holds an MSc in International Child Rights from King's College London and completed the Oxford Artificial Intelligence Programme (2025) and the Oxford AI Ethics, Regulations and Compliance Programme (2026) at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford. Her work increasingly centres on online child safety and child safety in AI, and spans governments, technology companies, UN agencies, and NGOs worldwide, with a focus on embedding responsible, cross-sector approaches to child safeguarding. She is also the author of the forthcoming children's book for ages 4–7, Sofia's Safe Circle: A Story About Trusted Adults and Speaking Up (Growing Brave Press, first half of 2027).
